Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Designer with a passion for solving complex design challenges in e-commerce and financial services. You’ll work end-to-end across discovery, design, and validation, embedding research and testing at the heart of your process. You will be hands-on with design execution while also contributing to design culture and supporting the growth of your teammates.

Key Responsibilities

User-Centered Design

  • Lead discovery sessions with users, running interviews, usability tests, and diary studies.
  • Translate research into personas, customer journeys, and service blueprints.
  • Rapidly prototype and validate ideas through A/B testing, guerilla testing, and in-market experiments.

Execution & Delivery

  • Design end-to-end user flows for both e-commerce (browse, basket, checkout) and financial services (onboarding, payments, account management).
  • Contribute to and evolve our design system, ensuring visual and interaction consistency.
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and technical feasibility.

Collaboration & Influence

  • Partner with Product Managers to shape hypotheses and validate problem statements.
  • Present work clearly and persuasively to stakeholders, always grounding decisions in research and data.
  • Support the development of junior designers, contributing to the overall quality of the team.

Skills and Experience

  • 3–5 years of product design experience, ideally with exposure to e-commerce checkout flows and financial services apps.
  • Solid knowledge of user research techniques (moderated/unmoderated testing, surveys, analytics interpretation).
  • Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, prototyping tools) and research platforms.
  • Strong visual design skills paired with a rigorous UX process.
  • Experience in regulated industries or security-conscious environments a plus.

Success in This Role Means

  • Launching features that drive measurable improvements in conversion, trust, and customer satisfaction.
  • Actively contributing to a strong user research culture within squads.
  • Being a reliable partner for Product and Engineering when solving complex user experience problems.
