Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements from finance, product, and technology stakeholders into comprehensive functional specifications and business requirements documents (BRDs)
  • Conduct requirements elicitation sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to define business needs and objectives
  • Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases for product development and system enhancements
  • Perform gap analysis between current state and future state requirements, proposing viable solutions
  • Analyse end-to-end financial operations processes to assist in identifying operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities
  • Design and document optimised business processes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across finance, risk, compliance, and operations
  • Ensure business solutions comply with financial services regulations, risk management frameworks, and internal controls
  • Lead or participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), creating test scenarios and validating delivered solutions against business requirements
  • Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, system specifications, and business analysis artifacts

Qualifications & Education

  • Business Analysis Professional certifications

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3-5 years in the financial services, banking, or FinTech sector
  • Demonstrated experience in process automation projects, including process discovery, analysis, and implementation
  • Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, business process modelling, and business requirement documentation
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and finance professionals
